MEDICAL DIRECTOR AT PAIN CARE BOISE
Dr. Binegar is a native of North Dakota and received his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of North Dakota. His internship was conducted at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Dr. Binegar completed his Anesthesiology Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and Scottsdale, AZ.
In 2003, Dr. Binegar founded Pain Care Boise, a clinic and outpatient ambulatory surgery center(Medicare and AAAHC certified) dedicated solely to the treatment of pain. Prior to his founding Pain Care Boise, Dr. Binegar was a senior staff Anesthesiologist at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center for over ten years. His professional memberships and affiliations include: The American Medical Association, Idaho Medical Association, International Spine Intervention Society, International Association for the Study of Pain, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (and Idaho chapter), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. He is Board Certified in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, and recently became the first and only pain physician in Idaho certified in the emerging field of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.
His medical achievements and professional credentials aside, Dr. Binegar counts his wife Wendy and three children as his greatest passion in life. It’s through his own family, and realizing the enjoyment they receive being active, that Dr. Binegar remains focused upon successful outcomes for all of his patients.
