Hello and welcome to my First blog!
My name is Bill (William) Binegar, MD. I received my medical training at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, and am Board-Certified in Anesthesiology, Pain Management and Musculoskeletal Ultrasound. I am very new to social media, but I do love a good story. My hope is to educate you (the reader) about Pain Management at Pain Care Boise, and to share some stories and pictures about myself, my family, my clinical staff and my patients.
I have been blessed to live and work for the last 25 years in Boise, Idaho. My family and I truly love and enjoy the many diverse outdoor activities from kiteboarding to mountain biking. As a Physician, I strongly encourage my patients to be active, but understand that for some depending on prior injuries or age this may mean a walk around the block or simple stretching exercises.
Over time, I have also incurred a number of injuries. My experience with surgeries and injections has led me to a much deeper understanding and appreciation of the body’s tremendous physiological capabilities for healing. In my future blogs I will discuss the many causes of pain for various spine problems and musculoskeletal/joint pain issues and the conservative treatments to consider prior to surgery. These treatments will range from medication management, minimally invasive treatments, alternative treatments and what I believe the future holds for us is regenerative medicine. I am presently doing all of these treatments at Pain Care Boise, our state of the art AAAHC and Medicare Certified surgery center.
To learn more about Pain Care Boise, and to follow my future blogs, I invite you to visit our website at www.PCBoise.com and follow us on Facebook (and I may even venture into other social media outlets).
I would love to get to know your story. If you have any questions or want to set up a time for an evaluation, please call us at 208-342-8200.
Disclaimer: A simple reminder that any blog, including mine, represents an educational tool only. Even though I will be educating you through my greater than 30 years of experience in the health field from medical school, internship, residency, hundreds of CME(continuing medical education) credits, and thousands of articles; a diagnosis or treatment for you cannot be determined without first being evaluated. Remember nothing replaces the advice given following the one on one evaluation by a physician/provider.
